Daily Image: Patio Furniture on My Deck
This image highlights some of the benefits of using a digital SLR camera over the standard point-and-shoot. Viewing the full-size image will allow you to see that there is some moire effects showing up on the mesh of the chair on the left, while there is no moire on the mesh of the chair on the right. This is a rather difficult picture for any digital camera to handle due to the moire effects that generally occur on such fine mesh images like what you see on these chairs, but with a digital SLR with interchangeable lenses you get a lot better reduction of moire than you would on most point-and-shoots.
