JMP 8 crashes

JMP 8 is prone to frequent crashes when you misuse JSL. I have found that this occurs most often in my current code when I use the "For Each Row" function. In JMP 7 this function was more forgiving, and JMP would not complain about using it in contexts where you really should have been assigning formulas to new columns, but JMP 8 apparently does not like this practice. If your old JMP 7 scripts are causing JMP 8 to bomb, try locating any funky expressions utilizing the "For Each Row" function, or scripts that are attempting to write data to positions in your data tables that may not exist.
